Prof. Sam Richards Gives Lecture on "Sociological Analysis into the 2024 U.S. Election"

On October 14, Sam Richards, Professor of Digital Cultural Contents at Konkuk University, delivered a lecture "The U.S. Elections: Sociological Analysis of the U.S. as the 2024 Election Approach" at the Prime Hall.

Professor Richards discussed sociological aspects of the upcoming U.S. election. He lectured on voters' tendency to prioritize party over candidate, Donald Trump's political characteristics, and how Kamala Harris' policies resemble Trump's. A Q&A session with the audience followed the lecture. Students, faculty, and residents attended the lecture, which was also live-streamed.

Professor Richards, a world-renowned professor with over 30 years of experience in race & culture studies at Penn State University, has been named a Distinguished Professor this year.
